It’s important to know the primary type of waste you’ll be disposing of when choosing a trash compactor. There are three categories to consider:
Wet – Food waste, dairy waste, household garbage, etc.
Dry – Paper, corrugated boxes, etc.
Bulky – Pallets, drums, appliances, etc.
Now it’s time to select the right unit for your needs. LRS offers the following types of trash compactors:
Apartment & High Rise Compactors – Small yet powerful, these compactors can fit into trash rooms of high rises, standard apartments, and multi-family buildings. We also offer 6-yard apartment compactors.
Self-Contained Compactors – Excellent for hospitals, restaurants, and grocery stores, these compactors can handle wet waste, including food waste, dairy waste, and household garbage.
Stationary Compactors – These units are ideal for retailers with their ability to easily handle dry waste, such as paper, cardboard, and corrugated boxes. We also offer stationary compactors with full enclosures.
